Florida Atlantic University has issued a deadline for deferrals. Deferral deadlines are the last date that students may request to defer their admission / I-20 request from a current semester to a future semester.
For requests received beyond the stated deadlines for future semesters, for future applies:
- If they are still within the 30-day SEVIS Registration window, students can defer their admission and I-20 request.
- If the SEVIS Registration has passed, students can defer admission but will likely have to submit a new I-20 request and pay the SEVIS fee again, if previously paid.
