The University of Memphis has made a decision to waive the International Enrollment Deposit of $1,500. Students who are admitted can apply for their i20 (Passport, Bank statement, and Affidavit of support) immediately. They will not be required to pay the enrollment deposit.
Please note that some students may still get an email about the enrollment deposit, please ask them to ignore these emails.
Some of the students may have paid the deposit already. An email is going out to all those students regarding the university providing them the option of getting a refund of the deposit if they so desire. It may take 2 – 3 weeks for the deposit to be refunded.
