It is an official confirmation from APS India that students applying to Lancaster University Leipzig (a British university operating in Germany) are not required to obtain the APS certificate to study in Germany.
More information on the visa process for students not requiring APS will be shared in due course. Voluntary participation in the APS procedure will be maintained.

Foundation Programs:
- Academic: High school with an overall 50% with a minimum of 70% in Maths
- IELTS (For 2 semesters program): Overall Score 5.5 with no section less than 5.5
- IELTS (For 3 semesters program): Overall Score 5.0 with no section less than 4.5
Bachelor’s Programs:
- Academic: High school with overall 60%
- IELTS: Overall Score 6.0 with no section less than 5.5* (*Vary course to course)
Pre-Master’s Programs:
- Academic : 3 years or 4 years Bachelor’s Degree with overall 55%
- IELTS: Overall Score 6.0 with no section less than 5.5
Master’s Programs:
- Academic : 3 years or 4 years Bachelor’s Degree with overall 60% in Business and Management Studies, Economics, other Social Sciences, and Engineering
- IELTS: Overall Score 7.0 with no section less than 6.0
