University College Dublin is pleased to inform you that they have received special approval from the Visa Office regarding the visa application process for conditional offer holders who have been offered a place to study for Master’s degrees at University College Dublin for the September 2023 intake. This approval is applicable to those who have a condition to submit their final year grades and are eligible to meet the entry requirements mentioned on their offer letter.
To ensure a smooth process, UCD has outlined the steps you need to follow:
Application Submission: Proceed with your application as usual, including all the required documents. Ensure to include a letter from UCD stating that your offer is conditional on the future exam results expected by a specific date. Any other conditions should also be mentioned in this letter.
Tuition Fee Payment: As part of the application process, students are required to pay 50% of their total tuition fees. Please attach the payment receipt from University College Dublin along with the application.
Assessment by NDVO: The New Delhi Visa Office (NDVO) will assess all applications in chronological order. If the conditional application meets all the other assessment criteria, it will be filed as an “Awaiting Unconditional Offer” (AUO). Students will receive an email notification from NEWDELHIEMVisaOfficeStudy@dfa.ie regarding the status of their application. If the application fails the initial assessment, it will be refused, and the student will have the option to appeal or reapply.
Submission of Final Results: Once the student receives the final results, it is important to inform the university promptly.
Visa Approval: Upon receiving the unconditional offer letter, the NDVO will approve and issue the visa.
